Hi Stephen It is possible that your Charles could be the Charles H. STEPHENSON born June Quarter, 1914, Sculcoates. It indicates his mother's maiden name is MASSAY. However, believe it is a transcription error and that it is MASSEY. There is a marriage of a Robinson STEPHENSON to Annie MASSEY in the...

Hi Simon I would be interested in sharing and exchanging info on your family line. I know that your line was in Barmby Moor at one time and feel they could have a connection to my husband's line. His Great Grandfather was born in Barmby Moor but not part of the same family. We have had DNA testing d...

You dont give any approx. dates of this family. However, have found an entry on the IGI of a marriage of a William MAJOR to Mary GRAINGE in 1783. Could this be the marriage you are looking for?

Further to Anne's posting with regards to the STABLER family found in the 1841 census living at Pockthorpe Cottage. This family that she mentions eventually emigrated to Illinois, USA. Elizabeth, the wife was HOOD before her marriage to Robert. We believe she may have been from Walkington.
